Manhattan Software, the global leader in enterprise real estate software, announced today that David Karpook, an esteemed real estate executive who most recently served as the CEO of Bricsnet, is joining Manhattan Software to work in the marketing and product development of Manhattan’s suite of real estate, asset and facility management products.
David brings a strong record of achievement in software as well as other industries, including award-winning stints in journalism, architecture and construction management.
His experience in Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) software began on the client side with the selection, procurement and implementation of the first automated system for the University of Florida.
Moving to the vendor side of the business in 1999, he has continued to develop his expertise in bridging the communications gap between the technology developers and end users of computerized systems; he has become known for his ability to translate complex customer requirements into workable software solutions.
David is a graduate of Harvard University and has a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Florida.
“I have known David for a number of years as a respected competitor and I am excited to bring David to Manhattan Software in order to work together to further the global design and development of real estate applications.
David is a well-known real estate and facility management professional who has left his mark on many segments of the industry – and will now have the opportunity to work with our incredible development teams around the world,” said Steve Vatidis, CEO of Manhattan Software Group.
