FOLSOM, Calif. (May 3, 2010) – Meridian Systems, the Plan-Build-Operate technology solutions leader for project-based organizations, announced today that its 2010 User Conference has been accepted as a Project Management Institute (PMI®) Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) Program. Meridian was reviewed and approved as a provider of project management training by PMI in 2008.
As a PMI R.E.P., the 2010 Meridian User Conference offers attendees the opportunity to qualify for Professional Development Units (PDUs) for conference attendance. Each conference track session qualifies for 1.25 PDUs. Attendees who attend the entire conference will receive a total of 10.5 PDU credits. Meridian will issue a PDU certificate to qualifying project management professionals upon completion of the conference attendance.
Established in 1999 as a service to PMI members and stakeholders worldwide, the R.E.P. Program was initially envisioned as a means of identifying project management training available in the global marketplace. From less than fifty registered providers in its first year, the R.E.P. Program has grown to over 700 training providers in 56 countries, on six continents across the globe in 2006. For more information on the R.E.P. Program, please visit www.pmi.org.
