FOLSOM, Calif. (October 13, 2009) – Meridian Systems, the Plan-Build-Operate technology solutions leader for project-based organizations, announces a speaking engagement at the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) National Conference and Tradeshow, October 25-27, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. Meridian and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) will co-present on the GSA’s use of a national enterprise electronic project management (ePM) solution and its impact on the GSA and its design and construction partners. GSA’s Public Buildings Service (PBS) has selected Proliance® software from Meridian as its ePM system.

Meridian Speaking Engagement:

Mr. Krichman, Ms. Sweet-Abshire, and Mr. Morrell will showcase the GSA PBS’s ePM solution. ePM is a critical solution for the GSA to manage new facility construction and renovations of existing government buildings, including court houses and border control stations. GSA PBS is the largest public real estate organization in the country, with an inventory of more than342 million square feet of workspace. Proliance was selected in 2008 as part of an open and competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process to procure one software central system of record for managing all construction project data. Proliance software can improve capital project performance by streamlining the plan-build-operate lifecycle, and reduce development, construction and facility costs.

Meridian will also feature technology demonstrations in booth #320. For additional details on the event and to register, visit: http://cmaanet.org/national-conference-2009.
