CLEVELAND — October 13, 2009 — Intuit Real Estate Solutions was selected as one of the NorthCoast 99 – the best workplaces in northeast Ohio – for the sixth consecutive year. IRES, a developer of property management software solutions for the global real estate industry, was also named the 2009 Innovation Award winner.
NorthCoast 99 honors the region’s 99 great workplaces. The program was developed and is presented by the Employers Resource Council, northeast Ohio’s leading and largest professional organization dedicated to human resources practices, programs and services.
Innovation Recognition
In addition to being named to the list, IRES also received a special category award for innovation, recognizing three efforts to facilitate and promote employee innovation and creativity.
The Intrapreneurship program encourages employees to generate out-of-the-box ideas, both big and small, to improve productivity and the customer experience. “Idea Jams” allow employees to spend up to 10 percent of their time working on projects they are passionate about, solve new customer problems, learn new skills, or innovate to improve the work environment. And the company invites customers to its usability labs, where employees can see how people use their product, and improve features and functionality.
