    You have listed some interesting reasons why companies should implement IWMS. Due to my research on the ROI of IWMS; I probably have some additional reasons:

    - Meet legislations
    - Reduce number of (service or lease) contracts
    - Less company cars by enabling working at home
    - Improve management information
    - Less movements
    - IWMS gives the opportunitiy to have the necessary helicopter view for making comprehensive long term maintenance plannings

    I know its an old post but a good one!
    A few more reasons –
    1. Reduce IT staff through system reduction
    2. Increase transparency (and, subsequently, productivity)
    3. Maintain compliance with changing government regulations (let the vendor keep up so you don’t have to)
    4. Risk mitigation
